Engage CCJ

About Engage CCJ

Engage CCJ is the brainchild of Mercer University’s Center for Collaborative Journalism.  This project is a culmination of work produced by journalism students during semester long practicum and internship placements.  Engage CCJ also features a hyperlocal web publication where students play with different mediums and styles of storytelling across a range of platforms to tell stories with a Macon sensibility.

All Engage CCJ content is pitched, created, and curated by students.  We pride ourselves on being endlessly curious.

About the Center for Collaborative Journalism

The Center is a unique community media collaborative combining Mercer’s liberal arts-based journalism and media studies program with the professional expertise of The Telegraph, Georgia’s third-largest daily newspaper, and Georgia Public Broadcasting, the third-largest public broadcaster in the country based on population reach, as well as 13WMAZ.
