Fall is just beginning, which means it is finally football season! If you want to watch football with a crowd, here are seven places in Macon that we recommend.

Buffalo Wild Wings
This is a perfect place for football fans. With 72 TV screens, you can watch several games at once. They also occasionally feature Mercer games and have special deals such as buy one get one boneless wings if you come on those days. You can check out their facebook page where they will post specials.

Bearfoot Tavern
Located in downtown Macon, Bearfoot Tavern is known for being the only gastropub in Middle Georgia. Their bar is a great place to watch a game on a Saturday night with over 50 beers on tap. A complete drink menu can be found on their website.

Mellow Mushroom
If you’re more in the mood for pizza, Mellow Mushroom is also a great place to watch football. With multiple screens and plenty of seating, you won’t have to worry about not being able to see the game you want to watch. This is also a more family-friendly restaurant.

Since Margaritas is located on Mercer’s campus you can get the feeling that you are at a college game. The restaurant is decorated with Mercer gear and will play Mercer sporting events so you can get that Mercer spirit while enjoying watching a football game.

Wild Wing Cafe
Not only is this a good place to watch football during the weekend, but Thursday nights are special as well. Mercer football head coach Bobby Lamb will be here every Thursday at 6:30 p.m. You can tweet him questions and he will be talking about the season and the upcoming games for the Bears.

Guitarras Mexican Grill
If you are craving Mexican food on a budget, this is a perfect place for you. Offering a friendly atmosphere with regular drink specials, this is a great place to hang out and watch a game on a Saturday night. For more information on specials check out their Facebook page.

The Brick
Macon is home to one of two of The Brick’s locations. Unique to Central Georgia, they will have great deals, especially on the weekends. For updates on events and deals, they frequently post on their Facebook page.
